Why it exists
A bookmark preserves a location, not the practical knowledge that makes a recipe work in your kitchen. Big Recipe Book brings the ingredients and method into a consistent, editable format while keeping the original source attached.
The goal is modest: make a personal collection easier to review, organise, plan with and cook from.
What it does not do
Big Recipe Book does not publish private recipes or meal plans, bypass protected recipe pages, or claim authorship of imported recipes. It is not a public recipe directory.
Imports should respect the source site's terms. Authors and source links remain important context.

Editable imports
Imported details can be imperfect. You review and control the saved version, and the draft points out anything that may need another look.
Clear deletion controls
You can remove recipes, pantry items and meal-plan items, or delete your account and its active recipe, pantry, plan and shopping-list data.
