Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Information you provide must be accurate, and you must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You may use Big Recipe Book for lawful personal purposes. You must not:

• interfere with, damage or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or another person’s account;
• use automated requests in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service or third-party websites;
• upload malicious code or use the service to break the law or infringe another person’s rights; or
• circumvent security, access controls or technical restrictions.

Your content

You keep ownership of the recipes, notes, meal plans and other content you add. You give us permission to host, process and display that content only as needed to provide and improve the service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to submit and use that content.

Third-party recipes and links

Big Recipe Book can import information from public websites and may link back to them. We do not control or endorse third-party content, availability, accuracy or practices. Your use of third-party sites remains subject to their terms, and you are responsible for respecting copyright and other rights in recipe content.

Food and nutrition information

Recipes, cooking times, allergen details and nutrition values may come from users or third-party sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Big Recipe Book does not provide medical, dietary or food-safety advice. Check ingredients, allergies, safe cooking temperatures and dietary requirements yourself.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to keep Big Recipe Book reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that imported information will always be complete. Keep independent copies of content you cannot afford to lose.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and without implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending use

You may stop using Big Recipe Book or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or end access if you materially breach these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if required by law.
